What it is
A personalized art session in an inspiring space. We start by choosing music together to set the tone, then move through simple exercises to get past the intimidation of a blank canvas. With as much guidance as you want, you’ll create a large abstract expressionist piece using familiar, low-stakes materials — craft paper, markers, pastel crayons, and acrylic paints.
Your art session lasts about 75 mins and I’ll give you a heads-up before we wrap. You decide whether to finish the piece then or leave it for a follow-up session.
We’ll debrief together. Take your piece home, or if the paint’s still wet, come back another time to collect it.

Who I am
I’m Dinelle Lucchesi, the artist behind The Art Room. I discovered this simple, joyful process for making abstract expressionist art at a moment when I felt completely stuck — it became a portal into a new phase of my life.
Years later, making art in my studio is still a massive source of fun, catharsis and connection for me. This small studio was a gift I gave myself, and I feel proud and privileged to share it with the world. So please — come paint with me.
